We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our efforts in generating direct IT project leads globally and successfully converting them into long-term business partnerships. As the BDM, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth and expanding our market presence by identifying potential clients, nurturing relationships, and ensuring the successful acquisition of IT projects.
- Lead Generation:
- Conduct extensive market research to identify potential clients and IT project opportunities worldwide.
- Implement targeted prospecting strategies, including cold outreach, email campaigns, social selling, networking, and referrals, to generate high-quality leads.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients for various IT projects.
- Client Engagement:
- Initiate and foster meaningful relationships with potential clients, understanding their IT project needs and challenges.
- Conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our company’s capabilities and value proposition.
- Tailor proposals and solutions to address the specific requirements of each client.
- Conversion and Deal Closure:
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical, delivery, etc.) to craft comprehensive project proposals, estimates, and timelines.
- Lead negotiations with potential clients, addressing any concerns or objections, and finalizing contracts.
- Ensure successful closure of deals and seamless handover to the delivery teams.
- One Week Observation Period:
- Implement a one-week observation period for qualified candidates to showcase their ability to generate leads and effectively engage potential clients.
- Evaluate candidates’ performance during the observation period to determine their suitability for the permanent BDM role.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead generation activities, client interactions, and deal progress.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance to the management team.
- Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the IT industry, with a strong focus on generating direct IT project leads globally.
- Deep understanding of the IT services landscape and the ability to identify potential projects that align with our expertise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to secure high-value deals.
- Results-driven with a passion for consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
